Echols Dorm: Brick Wall By Side Door
Shenandoah National Park
Dark Hollow Falls – a short 1.5 mile hike that’s not humpback rock (though I do love humpback rock).
With all of this rain, the waterfalls in SNP should be roaring. Take a break from school work to enjoy a short hike on a non-crowded park trail (the perk of hiking on a weekday).
We will leave at 8:30 AM on Tuesday, December 13 from Echol’s. The drive is just over an hour each way, and the hike itself is 1.5 miles. I anticipate being back by 11:30 at the latest??
You can read about the hike here:
I can take 4 other people in my car, so I will cap the trip at five people unless more drivers sign up.
Please bring:
-LAYERS OF WARM CLOTHING
-sturdy shoes
-water (2L)
-lunch/snacks – we can eat at the main overlook!
-SNP park pass if you have one or $5 cash. I have a pass but if we get multiple cars then I can only use my pass for one car.
