A little pre-Gauley appreciation of dry ground (INT CLIMB)

OVERVIEW

While this weekend is all about the river, the New just has too much good climbing to not indulge a little bit. I’m thinking about going to Orange Oswald, one of my favorite easier-grade sport climbing areas (cause I don’t climb hard grades, duh). We’re planning on climbing mostly in the 5.8 to 5.10 range. This trip is mostly intended for people with intermediate level of experience sport climbing, meaning you can lead climb/belay and clean routes. We also can take a small number of beginners that just want to climb on top rope (no outdoor climbing knowledge required). Please note your experience level in the questions.

Schedule:
9:30 am – depart cville
12:30 pm – arrive at crag
6:00 pm – back at car
6:30 pm – Grocery? head to Gauley Fest
