An unBEARably cool hike (Hiking at Bearfence)

OVERVIEW

Hi y’all!

Are you looking for last-minute Saturday plans but still want to be back way before the game? This is the hike for you! Bearfence is a 1 mile loop that is relatively chill but labeled as moderately difficult due to some elevation gain and a rock scramble at the top. But if you’re comfortable with that, there are some gorgeous views past those rocks.

Schedule:
10:00am: Meet at Echols
11:15am-1:15pm: Hike!! Maybe have a mindful moment at the peak
2:30pm: Be dropped off

What you should bring:
– Water!
– Snacks if you’d like
– Hiking boots/shoes (it reallly helps to have traction on rocks)
