Priest + Crabtree Falls Beginner SCARY Saturday Backpacking (11/2)

OVERVIEW

I love Halloweekend as much as the next guy, but I love the woods too. I’m hoping to rassle up a band of adventurers who want to go backpacking Saturday afternoon to Sunday midday. The plan is to hike up Crabtree Falls to the Priest or do it as a point-to-point if we can get 2 cars and enough people. Either way, it’s about 8 miles total with a good amount of elevation gain and loss. Also, I got new crocs and I’m really excited to wear them. This is a great quick backpacking trip if you want to test out your gear, try backpacking for the first time, or just get out of cville and into the fresh fall air.
