Creekathon Stone Skipping, a new frontier

OVERVIEW

I’ve done a variety of rock and stone type trips including climbing, lifting, walking/running but now we are evolving to projectile stones. I find stone skipping always satisfying and rather surprising. Walnut Creek has provided us with a wonderful venue to practice our stone skipping, so if you are looking to skip your first stone or are a seasoned skipper looking to demonstrate your mastery join me for a bit towards the end of Creekathon to enjoy bouncing rocks on water.

Plan
Gather at Pavilion around 2:00
Go down to water and skip stones until we are out of viable stones (we will non-intrusively look for stones there to skip but I will also bring alot of suitable ones so we don’t have to overturn to many creatures’ homes)
