Rivanna River Cleanup with Surfrider UVA

…anyway…Hello friends! Alana and I are facilitating an epic collab with SURFRIDER!! We will be doing a Rivanna River clean-up at 2pm on 2/28 to keep our local waterways clean. You will get to pick up trash and meet some fellow water lovers. Yay! Enough said. If you know you know.

**Note: We need drivers! Drivers will be prioritized off the waitlist

Here’s the plan:
1:55: meet at Echols and eat bagels (yummy)
2:15: arrive at Rivanna River and get to work
3:30: wrap up and head on back
3:45: part ways and celebrate a job well done

What to bring:
– Good shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
– Work gloves if you have some but we will also have some
– Water

What we bring:
– Trash bags and grabbers
– Bodos!
