Thursday Hike at Turk Mountain

OVERVIEW

I only have one class Thursday, so why not lead a hike? Join me on a trip to Turk Mountain Trailhead to get a head start on your Spring Break. This is a beginner hike so you don’t have to have any experience, just feel comfortable hiking around 2 miles. I don’t have a car so drivers will be prioritized. I also don’t have a park pass so passholders will be prioritized. It will be around 50 degrees so wear something you feel comfortable in.

Plan:
1:30 PM Meet at Echols
1:35 PM Depart for Trailhead
2:20 PM Arrive at Trailhead and start hiking
4:20 PM Finish Hike and depart for Echols
Approximately 5:10 PM Arrive back at Echols and possibly get dinner

What to bring:
– Hiking shoes and clothes that can get dirty
– Snacks and 3L of water
– Shenandoah Park Pass (I don’t have one)
– Anything that will make the hike better

What I bring:
– First Aid and other necessary hiking stuff
– Binoculars
