Corner of Echols
Also Corner of Echols Dorm
600 Morven Drive, Charlottesville, VA, USA
I’ve been stressing about my thesis presentation tomorrow and I decided that there’s no better way to de-stress than a morven trip! Morven Kitchen Garden is UVA’s project in sustainable agriculture, and there’s really no way to spend a warm Friday afternoon. It also happens to be one of my favorite places in Charlottesville. This trip is beginner-friendly, and the volunteer work is mostly small manual labor tasks, like harvesting produce, weeding, etc. We may get to take home a fresh lil veggie too 🙂 Be sure to bring water/snacks and clothes you feel comfortable gardening and getting dirty in and that tomorrow’s weather
The plan:
2:30 PM – leave from corner of Echols
3 – 5 pm– volunteer!
5:30 pm (at the latest) – back home
there’s a chance that i won’t be able to drive. if so, drivers will be prioritized off the waitlist!
