Walnut Creek Park, Walnut Creek Park, North Garden, VA, USA
Come out to walnut creek park to look for foraged goodies with us! We will be hiking around the park and looking for edible mushrooms and herbs. We will go over the basics of mushroom identification and safety for those unfamiliar, the most important being positive identification. If we manage to find and positively identify enough wild mushrooms for a meal, we could cook a group dinner if adventurers are willing.

5:00 meet at echols and depart via car
5:30 arrive at walnut park
7:30 (at the latest) leave walnut park
8:00 start cooking if successful- this is optional – otherwise home time!
