Welcome back from Spring break, because it’s time to get back to bonfires and hikes with ODC! This hike will be at the Ohill trails, around 2 miles, and will be a lovely COLLAB sunset hike with LovEd and the Queer Student Union! After the hike, we will have a lovely bonfire in the backyard of the Shrack!
This hike is welcome to all people but is focused on people identifying as LGBTQ+. LovEd is a student-led organization in the Ed School that focuses on increasing visibility for LGBTQ+ educators and creating inclusive, safe environments in schools. The Queer Student Union is the largest LGBTQ+ org on grounds and focuses on building inclusivity, advocacy, and community on grounds.
This hike will be beginner-friendly at about 2miles with relatively flat ground around the Ohill trails. It will also be a great time to make new connections and friends with different organizations! We will finish the hike with a bonfire at the shrack which is inclusive to the entire club, as well as all of QSU and LovEd!! It will be SUPER EPIC AND SICK!!!
What to bring:
good walking shoes
some water!
Plan:
Meet at the shrack at 6:15
Hike up to the trails
Head back down to the shrack at 7:20
BONFIRE WITH EVERYONE at 7:30 !!
