Leaf Peepin at Ragged Mountain

OVERVIEW

Fun tidbit: UVA gets its water from the reservoir at ragged mountain, and the water is piped to the water treatment plant on O’hill by gravity (no pumping required)!!!

Ragged mtn is right down the road from UVA and there is about a 5.5 mile loop around the reservoir. Come for some casual walking and leaf appreciating. We will be heading out from echols brick wall at 1:30pm and getting back around 4.

sturdy shoes
weather appropriate clothing

Drivers needed! You will not be reimbursed for gas becuase Ragged mountain is less than 15 miles away (and this is posted less than 24 hrs before the trip).
