BIKING TO THE CREEK!!

OVERVIEW

Hello fellow creekathoners!
We will be biking around 10 miles from the corner of echols to join in on the creekathon festivities! The route will be the apple maps route when typing in Walnut Creek Park from around the corner of echols dorm (I was skeptical about this but RidewithGPS suggested this was the optimal route). This trip is labeled as intermediate because we will encounter cars in some areas, but overall it should be very scenic and peaceful. Make sure to wear bright colors and have a flashing light on the back of your bike (I will bring extra lights in case)!! You will also likely have to bike back from creekathon, but we will arrange this to ensure no one is biking alone or in the dark.

-patch kit and co2 canister (in case of a flat)
-extra lights
When you join this trip, make sure to go to the trip description for the main carpool to creekathon and change your response to the survey to signify that you will NOT drive and that you will NOT ride in a car.
