Saturday morning humpback!!

OVERVIEW

Humpback Rocks Loop Trail HIKE!!!!
Come spend a pretty Saturday morning hiking up to humpback rocks. If you haven’t been able to get yourself up for a sunrise hike or are too busy for a sunset, this is the perfect way to still get to see the awesome views this trail has to offer.

We will be doing the loop trail (I prefer this it’s less boring bc we get to see new stuff the whole time). Its a ~4.3 mile loop that starts by heading up to the rocks (around 1k feet elevation gain over short period). Then we’ll join the AT and head back to the car.

The plan:
meet at echols: 9AM (ik its early)
arrive at trail: 9:45AM
hike hike hike (stop for summit view) hike hike
return to car: hopefully by 12PM (perhaps later depending on breaks)
back at echols (or wherever you desire): 1:30pm at the latest

note: i set this as intermediate simply due to the elevation gain (i also hike fast but will be very accommodating on this front). Just be sure that you are capable of handling the hike — reach out if you have any questions: 8049293968
