Why Donate?

Our membership at Outdoors at UVA grew exponentially following the pandemic years and continues to grow each semester. We are committed to offering affordable dues and an extensive, well-maintained gear library for our members. We also offer a complete dues waiver should the cost pose a financial burden for any prospective member. Outdoors at UVA facilitates over 700 trips per semester to areas as local as O’Hill and as far away as Moab, Utah. We also collaborate with other local and UVA organizations, engaging in environmental service and expanding everyone’s access to the outdoors.

Your donation supports our mission of getting UVA students and community members outside, regardless of their background or prior experience. You have the option to specify what aspect of the club to support. You could focus on gear for your favorite sport, funding for our DEI committee, or trail magic aka service trips. With your help we can continue to replace unsafe gear, break down barriers to outdoors access, and have a wonderful time in these beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains we call home.
