Inside Slaughter
Also slaughter!
Slaughter Recreation Center, Edgemont Road, Charlottesville, VA, USA
The snow….is melting…. sort of… SO… this calls for a (VERY CHILL (and chilly)) wander around the O’hill trails. I would absolutely love to go to Shenandoah for a beeeautiful snowy hike this Friday, but my car….is stuck…in the ice. A lot of ice. Too much ice. So until it gets a bit warmer, we will be showing O’Hill some love! We will prance around the trails until our feet are tired and our fingers are cold 🙂
This is going to be a super duper beginner friendly trip! No hiking experience required, this is more of a glorified walk. If you are new to Outdoors Club this semester, join Nora and I to get stoked for many adventures to come! 12-1pm is just my rough guess at how long people will want to be outside, so we can play it by ear!
What to bring:
WARM WARM WARM SUPER DUPER WARM CLOTHES BIG JACKET
Water !
Shoes that can handle snow and ice
Gloves hat mittens long johns whatever snow protection you please
What we will bring:
First Aid
(maybe a dog…. maybe) (if someone is allergic we will not do this) (but we will see)
