rotunda steps (lawn side)
one of the lawn gardens
The Lawn, Emmet Street South, Charlottesville, Virginie, États-Unis
Have you felt it too? That springtime magic in the air? Bees are buzzing, flowers are blooming, and all is right with the world. Or it would be if you didn’t have 5 bajillion things to do before the end of the year and finals lurking on the horizon😞📚
But I entreat you to pause, take a deep breath, and set aside some of your time to bask in the natural beauty of the Lawn Gardens with me & Lucy this friday evening. Don’t do it for us, do it for YOU. Spend this time in nature, collecting fallen petals from the beautiful gardens of UVA and pressing them in a volume (or in a hastily-made newspaper bundle) of your choice, so that you can study ceaselessly in the depths of clem guilt-free: no one can say you didn’t make the most of spring if you have 50 flowers stuffed into your textbook… 🌷💐📖🪻🌼
~The plan~

❁ 6ish depart with our hearts full of magic
*we will be respecting the fine work of the gardeners and only taking flowers and petals that have already fallen on the ground
~We bring~
❁ newspaper and twine for diy books
❁ blanket, snackies, and tunes (oh my!)
❁ flower power
~You bring~
