GO ON THIS TRIP!
We have received disturbing reports that another group has attempted to overshadow our glorious Old Rag hike. Do not fall for their propaganda! Peel the veil from your eyes. Our trip will be wrought with mischief and schemes, laughter and emotion; we will provide and experience that tugs on the very heartstrings of the soul. Join us as we gaze upon the source of our life on earth as it lays its weary head, soothing the mountains as they fall softly into their nightly slumber.

We gonna watch da sunset! {that also means we don’t have to wake up super duper early which is always a plus [the other old rag trip leaves at 8 am! (yikes)]}

Old rag is really really awesome for those who have not been. This trip is strenuous! It is not necessarily a good first time hike, but if you have done a hike longer than 6 miles, I’d say you’re probably good to go. People with solid hiking experience will be given preference off the waitlist, gotta make sure we make the sunset! There is also some simple rock scrambling that you’ll be able to handle if you have been to slaughter once ever or can lift yourself onto your bed. Our hopeful schedule is as follows:
1:00 PM: depart Cville
2:30 PM: Get to Old Rag
4:30 PM: We made it and everyone is super happy and we watch the sunset hooray
6:30 PM: We leave 🙁
8:30 PM: Back to Cville!
