2 Hikes, 1 Night, 2 Mountains-> Cold Mountain / Mt Pleasant

OVERVIEW

This weekend’s weather looks EPIC, so let us combine 2 of the best hikes in Virginia:
cold mt. and mt. pleasant, 12 mile figure 8 loop!!!

The plan:
Saturday: 10am meetup @ echols, then hit up bodos. Drive, 1.5 hours.
Arrive around noon.
Hike Mt Pleasant loop (5 miles/4 hours). Picnic in the meadows!!!
Start the Cold Mt loop and camp out under the stars!!!!

Sunday: Wake and finish the loop.
Drive home to be back in early afternoon.

Club provides:
-a ride
-camping equipment (if you need it) (ex. backpack, sleeping bag, headlamp, etc.)

You provide:
-foods ($ for bodos, picnic lunch, dinner, and breakfast, snacks)
– water (bring 4 L)
-eatn utensils
-hygiene products
-camera
-bubbles
-kite
– warm clothes (it might get chilly at night)
