2014 Aca Collegiate Race Series National Championships – Whitewater Kayaking Training Session 3 **Cancelled**

**THIS TRIP HAS BEEN CANCELLED**

This is the last beginner trip/clinic for those of you who are interested/haven’t been able to get on the last two trips, before we start moving on to more intermediate trips. Also, for those of you who are more advanced, we will be going over some skills for the river. Anything from wet exits, rolls, edging, etc so that we can start getting an official team together for the competition!

As long as the roads are clear we will be going to Walnut Creek Park which is a few miles outside of town. The fee to get in is $4.5, but that should be the only expense. We will be on the lake there, so be prepared with warm clothes again (Non-cotton layers if possible) The club can provide some gear for you as well if you don’t have enough layers.
***Just a heads up, it is very likely that the roads will not be cleared up enough by midday Sunday so I will keep everyone updated***

I’m setting the number of attendees to 4 to start out with, but will let more people in as I get drivers signed up!

TIMES: We’ll leave from Echols around noon, spend a few hours at the lake, and be back around 5pm by the latest.

THE CLUB PROVIDES: Kayaks, paddles, any other paddling gear- Please indicate when you sign up if you will need to use the club’s gear. Gas $$ is provided for drivers.

YOU PROVIDE: Bathing suit, towel, WARM CLOTHES, a change of clothes, $$ for food or snacks, any paddling gear you own
