5K for UVa Cancer Center

OVERVIEW

This 5K is sponsored by F.O.R.C.E.–Fighting, Overcoming, and Responding to Cancer Everywhere–a club dedicated to fighting cancer and promoting cancer awareness in the UVa and C’ville communities. All proceeds from this race will go directly to Patient and Support Services at the UVa Cancer Center. All entrants will receive a T-shirt that can be picked up at Ragged Mountain Running Shop after March 11th (size selection is conducted via entry form). Prizes will be given to the top male and female finishers. All other entrants will be eligible for random drawing of prizes, provided by Charlottesville local businesses. If you want to sign up after the online sign up date has passed, you can still come on race day (Feb 22nd; registration is from 8:00-8:45 AM), however the cost will be $12 and UVa Outdoors will NOT provide any of this fee.

Outdoors at UVa provides:

$6 of your entry fee if you sign up by the deadline. No club bux required.

You must bring:

$6 cash if you signed up by the deadline; $12 cash if you show up without signing up by the withdraw deadline. Also, please bring your completed entry form with you on race day (this will become available after you sign up for this adventure).
