Hello fellow outdoors people with no Friday classes! This is an 8.3-mile loop with a giant boulder field and beautiful views. It takes about 1.5 hours to drive there, and we will be taking two cars so that we can take more people. Drivers get priority off the waitlist!
The Plan
8:30 AM: Leave Echols
10:00 AM: Get to the trailhead and start hiking!
4:00 PM: Finish hiking and get back on the road
5:30 PM: Cars get back to Echols
To bring:
-Daypack/comfortable backpack
-Water
-Snacks and lunch
-Layers (i.e. sweatshirts, jackets, gloves)
-Good conversation
