Corner Of Echols Dorm
Corner Of Echols Dorm
Shenandoah National Park, Virginia, USA
I haven’t been hiking in a couple weeks, so this weekend I will be taking a much needed trek into Shenandoah to knock out two hikes I’ve been wanting to try out.
We will leave Saturday morning for Hawksbill Summit first. It is the highest peak in Shenandoah, and should take about 1 1/2 hours to complete. We’ll be going counterclockwise on this route:

Afterwards, we will head over to Dark Hollow Falls for a short second hike on this route, it should take about an hour:

There is no cost, because I have a SNP park pass, but if another driver and someone with a pass signs up, I can add a few more people! Both hikes are listed as moderate, so I don’t think anyone should have any difficulty with either. If we keep a good pace we will probably get back early.
