Advance Whitewater Kayaking: Upper Yough

OVERVIEW

The Upper Yough is a class IV/V advanced whitewater kayaking river. This trip is open only to those with the requisite skills and experience to safely enjoy this type of river, if you are unsure of your ability to run this river then please email me.

Logistics
Departing Friday at a time/location TBD by trip participants. We will travel to Friendsville Maryland and either stay in a house or camp out near the put in. We will paddle the Upper Yough release on Saturday and then return to Charlottesville Saturday Night.

If you need any gear for paddling or camping please inform me as soon as possible.

I am NOT “leading” any river trips, I am only coordinating some transportation for this event. YOU are responsible for your own safety and the activities you choose to participate in while on this trip. Additionally, all participants must have read and must agree to abide by the American Whitewater Safety Code http://www.americanwhitewater.org/content/Wiki/safety:start? for the duration of the trip.
All who participate on this trip agree to participate as “Common Adventurers”.
