Most rivers are running right now and I’m stuck in class. Sign up if you’re interested in paddling rivers that will be around class IV. I’ll ask for what rivers you’ve done and will make the call as to whether you can go. Please realize that most of these rivers are fast moving with very little eddy service. If you do not have a consistent roll, don’t sign up.
The Maury is my preferred destination — it is at 1830 cfs right now and hasn’t peaked yet, so lets hope its still running. The next rivers are the Tye and Moormans. There is a good possiblity that the trip will not go out if the levels drop too significantly, but lets hope it doesn’t!
I plan to be back for my class at 1:00. Let me know if you need to be back earlier.
Also, note that we will be leaving from my house. Email me if you want me to pick you up, but I have all the club’s gear, so if you need a boat, you must come to my house!
