Advanced Kayaking to WV

OVERVIEW

This will be an advanced kayaking trip to the New River in WV. You need to be confident on class IV rapids and need to have some experience on class V rapids. The water is running pretty high… higher than levels that I know, so we will try to meet people at a local kayaking shop once there. We will be camping with the climbing people and you may be able to leave on Saturday if one of them is going back.

You must bring:

lunches, personal gear… it is preferred that you have your own boat (preferably a playboat). If you don’t have your boat here, you can borrow a club boat, though they don’t have anything more radical than an rpm or redline.
