Advanced Whitewater Kayakin (Daytrip)

OVERVIEW

Probably heading to WV, but might stay local… All depends where the rain falls in the next day or so.

And send me any requests. Probably looking to do something solidly in the the III-IV range (maybe higher depending who comes).
It’s actually winter – so in addition to the 5 essentials, bring: reliable roll, or preferably supreme river reading and bracing skills so that you don’t have to roll, and a love for cold water! Swimteam Tryouts are highly discouraged – and can result in hypothermia, or at the very least will suck!
You also Bring:
-Non-cotton layers
-Cold water outer gear if you have it (ideally drysuit, but drytop & drypants/wetsuit may suffice).

Club Provides:
– The “5 Essentials” if you need them
– Limited selection of cold water garments
– Gas $
