James River - Richmond
Take a break from your exams if you’re a student, or leave work early like me and lets head to Richmond for some paddling on the James. If other rivers are up perhaps we’ll do the Maury or even the Tye if by chance we get mucho rain. Richmond is almost always a sure thing though. Some of the rapids are big and technical enough to be considered class 4 so do NOT sign up unless you have lots of experience in at least class 3 rapids and have a bomb proof combat roll. Bring some ca$h for a fantastic post adventure experience in Legends, a local brewpub.
