Afternoon Jaunt to Bearfence Mountain

OVERVIEW

Hello friends,

Mother nature threw us a bone and made Saturday of all days a warm day! Our day off! What a win. To take advantage of this weather, Ella and I want to do a chill hike to Bearfence mountain, which supposedly has a cool rock scramble before 360 degree views at the top. Some picnicking will probably be done, so bring some yummerz food. We’ll bring hot chocolate too! We’d love to spend the afternoon with y’all and of course anyone is welcome!

The plan:

Leave echols at noon
Get to trailhead around 1
Hike and stuff
Get back to echols before 5

Admission into the National Park is $30, so if we can’t get a hold of a National parks pass, we’d appreciate it if y’all would be willing to split the cost with us. We’ll let you know if we do get a hold of one.
