Another election day hike! (Mary’s Rock)

OVERVIEW

DRIVER NEEDED!

Hi! I’ve been wanting to check out Mary’s Rock for a while and I finally got my chance! This is a 3.7 mile out-and-back hike with a 1000 foot elevation gain, so nothing too crazy but it is considered intermediate/hard on AllTrails. There’s an awesome 360 degree view from the top though!

Schedule:
9am: leave from Echols
10:30-2:30: Hike!
4pm: come back home
*There’s a very real possibility we won’t be hiking this long, but I’m saying 4pm just in case

What to bring:
– Water
– Snacks/lunch
– Hiking shoes
– A good attitude!

What I’ll bring:
– SNP pass
– first aid kit
