Backpacking to Waterfalls in Wv

OVERVIEW

This weekend is supposed to be hot, so lets get outta here and go somewhere with some sweet water.

The place is in WV about 2hrs 45 min away (says google). the hike is a loop about 7 miles the first day and 6 on the second. the campsite is along a beautiful wooded creek featuring a waterfall with a sweet swimming hole. i have been on an overlapping hike to the waterfall and am eager to return to the area. its a real chill place. rather than plagiarize the description, here is a link: http://www.hikingupward.com/MNF/AlleghenySenecaCreek/ note that i am planning on camping a little earlier on the first day, after the steep descent into the creek.

logistics: leave at 8am on saturday so as to give time to sort out gear, drive out there, and have some daylight left after getting to the campsite. we will return sunday evening, probably after dark. this is contingent mostly on how long we dawdle before packing up camp.

club will provide: place in a car/gas money, pack, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, headlamp, tent, food, cooking stuff, fun

you will provide: money if we stop on the way there/back (at least dinner on sunday), snacks, water, bowl/spoon, toiletries, yourself, good attitude and sense of adventure (i will send a more complete list out later in the week)
