OVERVIEW

Like Zeus with the birth of Athena, one sunny day in slaughter a brilliant idea emerged from my brain. It is a combination of my two favorite things, bread and backpacking hereby termed Baguette Packing! The emergence of Baguette packing as a sport has been prophesied since the dawn of bread. It involves participants taking a baguette into the wild and surviving off its bountiful fruit. It does however have some rules. If you sign up for this trip you are making a commitment to carry your baguette ON your pack, NOT IN. The baguette is subjected to everything you are and as such you must treat it like your baby and protect it with your life. All meals will be focused around your baguette so even if you abuse it, you will still be eating it πŸ™‚
Where do I obtain this gorgeous piece of gluten you may be asking yourself? Don’t worry Claire and I have got you covered, to ensure no one comes with subpar bread we will be providing everyone with their very own baguette from the wonderful Albermarle Baking Co. (ik ik hold your applause).
We will be embarking on this maiden voyage of Baguette Packing at the beautiful and fun Devil’s Marbleyard which is just about an hour and a half outside of Cville. This is a totally beginner friendly trip so even if you have never been backpacking before you are 100% welcome!
