As you may have noticed there are countless backpacking trips posted on the website right now…
Take advantage of this magnificent opportunity to get started with the ✨art of backpacking✨.
On Thursday we’ll learn all about backpacking gear and skills in this specially made workshop for NEW MEMBERS and BEGINNERS.

After this workshop you will know the basics of …
– packing a backpack
– setting up a tent
– filtering/purifying water
– using a stove
– cat holes
– why cold soaking is incredible
– LNT hand signals

sched (THURSDAY 8/31):
3:30 meet at the gear room and GET GEAR
4:00 frolick to somewhere on O’hill or grounds to set up our tents and try filtering water/ using stoves
4:45 scoot on back to the gear room
5:00 you are released into the world with new backpacking knowledge and confidence!
