BEGINNER Spy Rock Hike

OVERVIEW

I decided to do a kinda silly thing this week where I lead a trip every single day! We’re starting off strong with a relaxed day hike at Spy Rock, which has some spectacular views. The hike is about 6.5miles. We’ll be taking it slow, so no worries if you don’t have any experience hiking! If you just joined the Outdoors Club or you haven’t had a chance to go on many trips yet this year, this trip is for you. I will be prioritizing taking people off the waitlist who are first years or new members! So sign up!

Schedule:
9am meet at echols
10am arrive at trailhead & start hiking
1pm reach the summit and eat lunch
3pm arrive back at cars
4pm back in cville

What to bring:
Sturdy shoes
water
lunch/snacks
backpack
layers!
camera? walking stick? fun facts? (optional)
