It will be super nice out on Saturday and I want to go on a relatively quick and beginner-friendly bouldering/sunset admiration trip at ragged reservoir. The reservoir is about a 15 min drive from grounds (I can drive us). If you’ve never bouldered outside before this is a great place to start (& I want YOU to come). There are several easier routes that are great to start on and the location is quite lovely.
The Plan: Meet at the gear room at 4:30, gather crashpads and any supplies you may need. Get to ragged around 5, do the super pleasant ~20 min approach and then climb for however long people are feeling like climbing. Perhaps we have a little dinner picnic situation while we climb and admire the reservoir. Climb climb climb. We will then walk back filled with joy and peace and drive to the gear room to return things. Aiming to be back around 8, no later than 8:30.
You Bring (or conveniently acquire at the gear room): climbing shoes, chalk, water, food if you want to eat while we are there
I Bring: crashpads, you to the boulder, picnic blanket in theory
