Beginner Outdoor Climbing Workshop

OVERVIEW

If you have never climbed or you have forgotten how things work this workshop is for you.

If you have climbed outdoors with our club OR you want to be back earlier than the trip end time PLEASE do not sign up.
Waitlisted people last weekends have priority but still need to sign up for this trip. also priority is for people who were not absent in the previous trips.

you will use climbing shoes, learn how to put on harness, tie rope to your harness. Then I teach you belaying. Climbing comunication words “on belay, belay on, climbing…) is the next and at the end we climb some fun routes.
If you are experienced and enjoy teaching go ahead and sign up we certainly need your help.Also if you want to practice your setting top rope skills or you want to be certified to lead TR trips for our club, you are welcome to join and help us on this.

you will be waitlisted after joining the trip. A group will be selected randomly (considering the priorities) and I will let you know by Thursday evening if you are in. please make sure to come if you selected.

WEATHER: Now the forecast is fine for Sun, If I don’t send you email until Sun 9 AM, it means the trip is on.

Club provides all climbing gear including climbing shoes, harness and belaying device as well as group gear,

you please bring: 2 liters of water, a rain jacket in case,snacks and a lunch. Camera if you own one.
