BEGINNER TRIP: Little Devils Stair Hike

OVERVIEW

Yo yo yo, it’s me, Trip Leader #97890098, fresh off the assembly line and reset to my factory settings. As a result, I say we do a Cville Classic! The Little Devils Stair Trail includes a creek, a history cemetery(RIP), and pretty views. Best of all, it has a lot of rock scrambling!

This is a 5.6 mile hike with 1489 feet elevation gain, so it is moderate-difficult in terms of steepness(Though don’t be afraid to sign up, we can take plenty of breaks if needed). There is also lots of rock scrambling, so you will have to use your hands and your feet. The trail may be slightly overgrown as well, but it shouldn’t be too bad. I have a national parks pass and vehicle, so you don’t need anything to come…except ready for a good time!

*I remember what it was like to be vehicleless last year, really wanting to get out to the mountains but unable to do so, so I will try to show priority to new members who sign up.*

Timeline:
Meet at 9:30, on the road by 9:45(Early to avoid heat of day)
Arrive by 11:15
Done by 2:30
Back home: 4:00, Can stop for munchies, or go on home 🙂
