Big Meadows Stargazing and Cider !!!

OVERVIEW

Before it gets too cold, let’s go stargazing at Big Meadows, one of Virginia’s awesome dark zones located in Shenandoah National Park. If you need some quality time to contemplate life or just need to space out (hah, hope you got that), come join!

The Deetz:
7:30 pm – leave from echols
8:45ish – arrive at Big Meadows and commence star gazing
Lay out our blankets, watch some stars, make some wishes, see some aliens, etc
10:45 (or sooner???) – drive back to cville
12:00 – arrive back at ur cozy bed

to bring:
headlamp
layerssss (it will be chilly) or maybe a sleeping bag to snuggle in
something to sit on if you so desire
a cup or mug (there may be some warm apple cider in ur future)
snacks???
constellation app/star chart? idk much about stars so this is if you wanna know what’s actually up there
