OVERVIEW

This trip is part of the reading days Pisgah trip: https://outdoorsatuva.org/adventure/pisgah-fall-break-extravaganza-main-trip/
Make sure to sign up for that first

This trip is to coordinate an INT bike group. We will be riding for several days in the Pisgah National Forest and in Dupont State Forest. The INT group and ADV group will ride together some days, but ADV will split off for at least one long ride. If you are interested in this trip but are not sure about the mileage or technicality of trails, feel free to reach out to us.

The mileage is not set in stone but we want to do 15-35 mile days with 1500-4000 feet of climbing.

We also hope to mix things up a little, because 4 consecutive days of riding would be pretty exhausting. This could include doing a full trip activity (both bike groups and hiking group), maybe a chill hike or visiting Asheville. If you have any ideas for activities, let us know in the comment section of the questionnaire.

While Pisgah is known for having steep, wet and chunky trails, the INT group will be able to avoid any highly technical riding. We haven’t planned out the exact route for each day of riding, but here are some trails that would be fun:
