We need bike lanes on Emmet St. (and all over grounds tbh, but Emmet St. in particular), in my view at least. Sharrows suck (“bike lanes” that are just a sign for cars and bikes to share the road) and I want to let people know that we can do better and it’s not that hard. I think this will be a subtle way to let people passing by see that we’re (at least me) dissatisfied with the state of facilities here without being too aggressive and letting people demonize our cause.
All you have to do is bring yourself to Echols at 3am (early start so we can avoid traffic, not because this is sketchy) and dress warmly. After, we can go home and sleep for a bit and then go snag bodos with the $7 credit per person we get for a service trip.
I will bring some chalk and fiery rhetoric in support of our cause
