Bike Ride that is both Happy and Fun?? pt FOUR?

We are biking around charlottesville again. Just like we did last week, and the week before last. And just like we will next week and the week after next. If you are new to happy fun bike ride, it is a super chill weekly bike/skateboard/scooter ride on the streets of charlottesville with as many people as possible. That being said, fricking sign up and come hang with us!
The plan is as follows: meet at the Ohill dining hall bike racks at 6:30, rally and goof off for 15-20 minutes and wait for the less punctual folks to arrive, then we bike nice and slowwwww down McCormick Rd, University Ave, West Main and Water Street until we get to the Ting Pavilion and hoot and holler and celebrate another DUB for pedestrian-based infrastructure. Then we’ll bike back to a beautiful strip of asphalt adjacent to the market formerly known as “Cohn’s on the Corner” in order for some more goofing off, after which we will safely depart and enjoy our nights!! As mentioned before, all non-car/motorcycle/internal-combustion engine modes of transport are welcome! Don’t be shy!! If you need a bike or something, please reach out, and we will try our best to secure you one. Once again, this is extremely beginner friendly, so please join join join join join! Also, invite your non-ODC friends! We can’t help get them bikes, but we want to make this a community event, so all are welcome!

Some quick disclaimers: although we would like to, we must obey by the laws of the road as they pertain to bikers. It is important that we respect our fellow pedestrians, as such we will be yielding to any and all pedestrians utilizing crosswalks and open pedestrian zones. Additionally, we will not provoke any of the cars on the roads, if they wish to provoke us, so be it, we will turn the other cheek and maintain the happiness and funness of our bike ride.
