Biking & Camping on the Va Creeper Trail

OVERVIEW

Ever wish that the trail was all downhill? Well, the Virginia Creeper Trail can make that wish come true!

We will cover half of the converted rail trail on Saturday. This section is a gently graded downhill lasting about 17 miles. After completing the ride we will grab our packs and head back out onto the trail to camp for the night. Depending on how we feel on Sunday we can do some more biking / hiking / swimming or just return to Charlottesville.

Cost for the trip is $10 to pay for a shuttle. Also bring some cash for lunch on Saturday and Sunday. The group size is set to one so everyone will be added to the waitlist. I will remove you from the waitlist as car space becomes available. The club pays for gas if you can drive. I think it’s about a 4.5 hour drive…
