Welcome to the first of many artist appreciation hikes! We will basically be hiking and listening to Billy Joel all the way up the trail and then get to watch the sun go down! (the sun sets at a crazy early time because of daylight savings) At the top we can chill, take some photos and appreciate Billy Joel.
WE NEED DRIVERS! – drivers get priority off the waitlist. The club reimburses for gas +50% tip! -drivers need to show up to Echols with a full tank of gas!
Also, IT WILL BE COLD so please please layer. I will bring extra sweatshirts for anyone who needs one but PLEASE bundle up!
I expect to see you this fine Tuesday excited to watch the sunset and admire the works of THE Billy Joel.
Schedule: (the sun will set at 5:08 because of daylight savings)
3:30: leave Echols + car jam sesh
4:00-4:10: start hikingish (I’m leaving lots of wiggle room here for our leisurely pace): arrive at summit
5:08: bye bye Mr. Sun!
6:30ish: back on grounds
