BIPOC Bike Ride: Morning Bikes & Bites

OVERVIEW

If you love mountain views and coffee shops as much as I do, then this trip is for you! We’ll be checking out Rocket Coffee on Main St, which I haven’t been to yet. For mountain views, we’ll be passing by the IX Art Park and riding on Monticello Rd near Clark Elementary School.

This will be a beginner road biking trip, meaning we’ll be going at an easy pace and taking lots of breaks if needed. If you don’t have too much road biking experience and are worried about traffic, Sunday mornings have very little traffic which makes it a great time to ride.

The estimated time for biking roundtrip is 40 min, so we’ll have plenty of time to take breaks or hang at the coffee shop.

You’ll need:
-Warm athletic/comfy clothes (think clothes for running in the cold)
-Bike (can be provided)
-Helmet (can be provided)
-Water + bag to hold water
-Money for coffee shop

**As mentioned in the title, this is an affinity trip for anyone who identifies as BIPOC. Please don’t sign up if you don’t identify as BIPOC.
