Hello potential birders. This Friday morning (postponed from rainy Monday) we will be looking at birds around Ivy Creek. We’ll hike slowly and stop a lot to observe. It helps to have binoculars—we have three extras—or maybe a fancy camera. If enough people join with personal binoculars/cameras we might expand the trip. Merlin Bird ID is a useful identification app if you want extra help.
We will leave a tad before sunrise because birds like the early morning. We should definitely be back in time for a 10 am class, likely earlier. The drive is 15 minutes.
