Birding @ Ragged

**Drivers get priority!!!**

Hey, I’ve been looking for some new places to go birding, and Ragged Mountain looks like a good place to check out! I’m hoping we will be able to see some water birds because of the reservoir. No previous birding experience is required, but we recommend downloading the Merlin ID app to identify the birds you spot and the eBird app if you want to keep track of your sightings. The only equipment necessary is a pair of binoculars. If you have binoculars definitely bring them, but if not, I will bring some from the gear room.
You are also welcome to bring a camera if you want to take pictures of birds as well!

The plan:
8 am: meet at Echols and drive to Ragged
8:10 am: birding!
10:20 am: leave
10:30: back at Echols
