Blackrock Summit, Appalachian National Scenic Trail, Grottoes, VA, USA
Let’s have a Shenandoah jam session during sunset. Bring the instrument(s) of your choice and a few favorite songs.
We’ll leave from the SAB at 4, get to the trailhead around 5, make the <1 mile hike/stroll to Blackrock summit, and jam out over a sunset. The weather is supposed to be nice, clear, and not too cold or too hot. We’ll plan to be back in Charlottesville around 8:30 or 9.
Bring the musical instrument of your choice (or an enthusiasm for singing/vibing/listening), a snack, water, and a few extra layers in case it gets cold or windy as the sun goes down. If I’m feeling particularly put together, I may bring a camp stove and hot cocoa, so maybe also bring a mug or something if you’d like some of that (no promises though).
