Blackrock Sunset

OVERVIEW

Monday 3:00 – 7:00 (For the emails)

It’s been too long since I’ve been on a hike, and I’m also in need of a sunset. So why not finish the time before turkey time with a nice sunset when the weather should be clear. Blackrock summit is a beautiful area with a great view. It’s also super basic at only 1mi overall.

Plan:
Leave around 3:00
Arrive around 4:30
Hike up (easy)
Sunset at 5:00
Leave around 5:30 or when we get cold.
Back around 7:00

Bring things:
Food/snacks
Water 1L+
WARM clothes – peaks are cold and windy (I don’t have my winter clothes yet so I’ll be wearing about four layers of sweaters)
Headlamp/flashlight/phone light
Shoes
Park pass if ya got it or $5

DRIVERS NEEDED!! Drivers get priority off the waitlist, gas reimbursed, and a 50% tip! You have to show up with a full tank.
