Blow Off Your Finals for Snow!

OVERVIEW

Nobody really wants to study for finals, so I figure….don’t! Instead, join me in early season skiing and riding at Snowshoe resort, West Virginia. I know Baron already posted a trip for after finals, but I’d like to get some people out sooner, plus I’m already going and need company! Also, this trip encourages drinking* and debaucherous behavior….sorry Baron.

We’ll head up to the resort Sunday evening, stay at the Brazen Head, a beautiful family-run Irish style inn with restaurant and bar, ski monday and head back that evenining. We will have one room (they come with 2 beds and a loft area that sleeps 2, and floor space.) So depending on how many sign up, we might need to bring sleeping bags and pads.

I am flexible with departure times, so let me know in your questions when you can go.

This trip should be pretty laid back as I’m sure not too many people will join. But because this is the case, you might have to pay for some of the lodging, but not much (probably 5-10 bucks as long as we have 4 people). Lift tickets are not paid for but are very cheap for when we are going ($33 for one day).

It is supposed to snow on Monday so we might have some good conditions, but it is also going to be cold so come prepared!

If you need to rent equipment, you can do so at the Resort. I’m not sure how much it costs, however.
