OVERVIEW

Come boulder with Evan and I in the Magic Wood (we wish…) of the Shenandoah. We, as your steezy trip leaders, will provide the crash pads. You as the budding young grasshoppers will bring your agua (2 Nalgenes or so), a snack & some lunch, chalk, and climbing shoes. Fret not if you have no chalk I hear Evan Fee puts a few tablespoons in every protein shake he makes, so there’s bound to be some around. Friendly reminder we pack out everything we pack in so be sure to have a bag to put your stinky banana peel in, otherwise I’ll stuff it in yo socks.

I got work at 3:30, so plan to leave the Forest around 1:30! Also, expect it to be 5-10 degrees cooler on the Parkway than it is down here in the ‘Ville so bring some layers, cats and kittens. The approach is only 15 minutes or so and we’ll have a nice selection of boulders people of *almost* all skill levels can climb. That being said, bouldering outdoors is inherently much harder than bouldering indoors. Be ready to spend some time figuring out weird beta and touching some sharp rocks. I set this as an intermediate trip, but I’m not opposed to taking some beginners who wanna start transitioning outdoors. Climbing outdoors is tight af so if you haven’t done it don’t be afraid to give it a whirl.

**Driver needed! You’ll get priority off the waitlist, and gas will be reimbursed.**
