Bouldering at the Forest!! (Beginner friendly)

OVERVIEW

IT IS CLIMBING SEASON YALL
LETS GO BOULDERING
The spot we’ll be headed to is known as the Forest (https://www.mountainproject.com/area/107264568/the-forest), it’s a small collection of boulders just off of the parkway secluded in a lovely, you’ll never guess, forest.
This trip will be beginner friendly (NO OUTDOOR CLIMBING EXP. REQUIRED) and I’ll gladly go over the basics of outdoor bouldering including: spotting, route reading, climbing techniques, and general safety tips.

Considering we’ll be gone for a portion of the day Sunday, here’s what you’ll need:
– Water (2L)
– snicky snacks
– climbing shoes (check out gear room)
– chalk (optional)
– a hoodie (it may be a little chilly in the morning)

I will be bringing plenty of crashpads, stoke, and snacks to share!

*Driver needed! Will be prioritized off the waitlist and get reimbursed for gas
